Mark Loquan is the Honorary Founding Director of the Music Literacy Trust, a Non-Profit Organisation which was established to preserve music, educate pannists about music theory and empower individuals and communities through music.
Over the past 16 years, Mr Loquan has been involved in the composition of original music for the National Panorama Competition and has worked with local vocalists, songwriters, arrangers and performers. He co-produced the watershed product, Pan in Education, and his music has been performed all over the world.
Now based in Australia Mr Loquan serves as the Musical Director of the Perth Pandemix Steel Orchestra in his spare time. The band is the first steelband in Western Australia. He has also assisted the relatively new Steelband Association in Australia and New Zealand, PANZ, with producing its first strategic plan.”
